On November 20, 2023, Tendrich personally oversaw the impact of the “Pharmers Market Program” at the Weinberg House in HUD Housing, where families experienced the positive effects of merging food and medicine.

Thank you, Devoted Health, for always partnering with us to merge food and medicine, and helping these families prepare for Thanksgiving with all of these fresh veggies!” said Debra Tendrich. Since relocating to Florida in 2012, Tendrich’s dedication to community service has left an indelible mark on Palm Beach County.

As a non-profit executive, she founded EBLB.org, impacting over 12,000 young minds with an evidence-based nutrition education curriculum. The Grocery Assistance Program (GAP), another brainchild of Tendrich, has distributed a remarkable 2 million pounds of healthy groceries and fresh produce to local families.

Tendrich’s commitment to holistic community well-being extends to distributing over 5,000 turkeys and $10,000 in holiday gift cards to teachers, support staff, and community members, emphasizing her role as a true civil servant. Her influence extends to educating over 500 adults in leadership roles and college students, advocating for the importance of becoming nutritious role models and leaders within their communities.

In addition to her initiatives, Tendrich actively contributes to various boards, committees, and memberships, including the FAU School of Social Work Advisory Board, PBC Crime Prevention Officers Association, and League of Women Voters. Media outlets such as WPTV, WPBF, CBS 12, and others have recognized Debra Tendrich’s community impact.

Her outstanding contributions have earned her prestigious awards, including the President Joseph R. Biden, Jr. Lifetime Achievement Award and the Mother of the Year 2023 accolade from the KOP Mentoring Network.

As a published author and recipient of the Academic Excellence Award from Palm Beach State College, Debra Tendrich stands as a shining example of leadership.
